First Sunday of 2012

My goal was to try and get this post out last night with photos of what I took to our New Year's Eve gathering.

The place was full of yummy appetizers, this was my contribution to the lot ...

All the kids had fun popping "poppers" minutes before the ball dropped and they were all so excited to see the ball at Time Square come down.

In consideration to the company I will not post photos of the guests.  But this should give you an idea of what the ambiance was like.

We couldn't have asked for better weather.  No winds, no mosquitos, and low humidity - it was the perfect evening.

Staying out late has it's disadvantages, we were so NOT productive today and rolled out of bed so very late.  Our late morning fix were homemade chocolate chip pancakes.

After brunch we decided to pass down my first camera to a little one.  What better way to get them motivated than to give them their own camera.

I'm excited to see what comes of this, even if it's just to photograph Legos and toys ... it's worth it.

Good food and good company....you cannot ask for anything more. Know you all had a wonderful time. Take care and I hope to see you next week. genie
