Cayman Islands

This post is almost two weeks past due but I had to share pictures from my trip.  These are just of few from our first stop.  I will create another post on my Cozumel photos.  Unfortunately, I didn’t take as many photos as I had hoped, I was enjoying my trip so much I couldn’t be bothered with all the photo taking.

One thing that this trip opened up was the need for more travel in my life.  You have not experienced life until you see other parts of the world … different customs and way of life.

Our first stop was the Cayman Islands, how the locals can go to work with such beautiful beaches is unbelievable to me.  Because our trip was on a cruise we only had one day to each stop.  I would have loved to spend more time at Rum Point and some time on the sand bar.  The water was a bit rough but I am proud to say that I actually took a dip.  Sadly, no one caught a photo of this once in a life time experience … don’t know if I’ll get a chance to visit there again.  I’ve got a list of places I’d love to visit now.

I can actually say I swam among the sting ray …

Enjoy the photos and keep an eye out for my Cozumel post.

Relaxing just before we head to sea.

View from the port.

Our ship from a distance.  Can you spot the pirate ship?

En route to Rum Point

I swear by these bracelets, they totally saved this trip.  SEA BANDS!

Just before I took a dip in.

Sand Bar ... too bad the water was a little rough ...

Sea Star? Star Fish?

This was lunch, catch of the day Mahi Mahi, rice and cole slaw, YUM!

This was so goood!

Where do you want to go?

I didn't want to leave this spot.

Good Bye!

As we headed to a friends house on the island we went by a canal with these little guys sun bathing.

Island Time

I have been MIA for some time but it's definitely been with good reason, and here is why ....

Now I feel like I need a vacation from the vacation.  I am off for round 'dos'.

Simple Things Sunday - Dancing

One of the simplest things and I don't do often enough ... but my little person loves to do on a daily basis ... dancing.

Check out his moves as he gets down to a little bit of Michael Jackson's Thriller.
